We fixed two ways a single bad moment could get stuck in the page cache and shown to all your visitors.
What we fixed
- Temporary errors are never saved - if your site had a hiccup for a second, visitors could keep seeing that error page until the cache expired. Now only working pages are kept.
- Redirects are never saved - a cached redirect could send visitors in a loop, especially on phones. Redirects now always come fresh from your site.
- Maintenance mode shows up right away - when you switch on a maintenance page, visitors see it immediately instead of an older cached copy.
Your pages still load from the cache as before, so speed is unchanged.
No action needed on your end.
